Contents of the meat box:
Approximately 10 kg of meat (+/- 15%) distributed as approximately 6 kg of cuts and about 4 kg of dry-aged ground meat.
Cuts:
There’s always a premium cut included; sirloin steak/ribeye/tenderloin, in addition to that, there can be; chuck, brisket, top round, bottom round, sirloin tip, sirloin flap, flank steak, shoulder, outside round, rump steak, or tri-tip.
Ground meat:
The ground meat is dry-aged and slightly fattier than regular ground meat, which makes it more flavourful, easier to shape, and it doesn’t release as much liquid.
Dry-aging:
Approximately 3 weeks.
Packaging:
Everything is delivered vacuum-sealed, labeled with contents, weight, and date – ready to freeze. Ground meat is delivered in 500 g packages.
Shelf life of the meat box:
In the fridge, the meat can be stored for about 3 weeks and the ground meat for about 1 week. The meat keeps for at least 18 months in the freezer.
